01 Mar Mothers Day 2019 is just around the corner

Its mothers day on 31 March and we are now taking bookings . Our Delicious menu is as below . Everyone is welcome and mums get a  free dessert and glass of fizz . Bookings are advisable served from 11.45 with last seats at 17.00

Starters

Creamed cauliflower soup

Hot smoked salmon and prawn cocktail, citrus dressing,

Chicken and leek terrine, date and apple chutney,

Tomato and mozzarella, torn basil, roasted red pepper pesto, balsamic syrup.

All starters served with sourdough roll

Main Course

Honey and mustard roast gammon.

Roasted chicken, port house gravy.

Slow braised featherblade in Bowman Ale, reduced braising juices

Oven poached salmon tranche, white wine and chive cream veloute.

Beetroot, butternut, lentil and kale wellington, Celeriac and thyme sauce.

All main courses are served with;

Cauliflower cheese puree, Rosemary and garlic roast potatoes , Honey roast parsnips, Star Anise carrots, Swede mash , Yorkshire pudding.

Desserts

Sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch sauce,

Chocolate brownie, rum and raisin mascarpone,

Passion fruit and white chocolate ganache roulade, strawberry gel
